In early 2005 the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) introduced the secondary Social, Emotional and Behavioural Skills (SEBS) pilot to around 50 secondary schools across six pilot local authorities in England. Paula Smith reports on an NFER evaluation of the pilot – how effective was implementation, and what were people’s perceptions?
