Scottish Council for Research in Education (SCRE)
has been supporting Scottish education through research since 1928. The Scottish Executive Education Department Research Unit provides research-based advice and research programme development and management. Insight is a published by the Research, Economic and Corporate Strategy (RECS) Unit, part of SEED. An Insight article is included with each issue of Topic.
New Zealand Council for Educational Research (NZCER)
The New Zealand Council for Educational Research is an independent educational research organisation with an international reputation for producing quality educational research and research-based resources. The British Educational Communications and Technology Agency is the Government's key partner in the strategic development and delivery of its information and communications technology and e-learning strategy for the schools and the learning and skills sectors. The Becta website includes a section on practitioner research, including advice about how to go about doing research and about ethics.

CERUKplus is the only free database of current education and children’s service research projects in the UK. CERUKplus would like to include practitioner research undertaken as part of masters degree courses or levels 3 + 4 of the Teacher Learning Academy in 2010, and would like to hear from practitioners interested in doing so. We are committed to supporting teachers and lecturers in their research work and building connections between communities of practice. |
