Caroline Sharp

Presentation 1 - The ups and downs of research engagement

Caroline Sharp is a Principal Research Officer at the NFER. During her time at the NFER, she has been involved in numerous research and evaluation projects in diverse areas, but much of her work has focused on the following areas: early years and primary education; study support; arts and creative education; and the needs of school support staff. She is particularly interested in increasing the impact of research among policy-makers and educational practitioners. Caroline directed a major research and development programme investigating research-engaged schools. She has since worked with several national and local organisations to help support research engagement in schools.
