In July 2008 the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) is hosting its annual practical research for education Conference. The theme of the conference is 'making a difference with research.'
The conference is supported by the National Union of Teachers

The conference
This one day conference gives delegates the chance to relate the findings of educational research to their own practice, explains different methods of research and lends encouragement to those doing their own research, or about to embark on a project. Held in a convenient location in central London, we are delighted to have the support of the NUT, who are hosting the event at their headquarters. The event features presentations, discussions and workshops.

The venue
The conference will be held at Hamilton House, NUT Headquarters in London. Hamilton House offers quick and easy access to the many sights, delights and attractions of the capital and is a 5 minute walk away from Kings Cross tube station.
